Donuts with Mom

So this morning I got to go to Olivia's school for Donuts with Mom!! It was a blast, we got to catch up and she walked me around the school showing me all the artwork and where all of her special classes were. It made me long to be at home so that I could volunteer more and be more involved at school. While I was on maternity leave I spent some very special days with Olivia but it made me want more. Right now it's not possible for my family largely in part that I am the only one working but I love that my husband is able to stay home with Emily and Olivia. He's amazing and he does contribute when a drywall jobs comes up! This is what works for our family and even though I long for it I know that maybe one day down the road I'll be able to be more involved. So I want to know if any of you go volunteer in your kids classrooms? If so what's your favorite part? Here's a photo from our special morning, love, love, love her!!!
