Holiday Sweet Creations with Sweet Creations #GoodCookBloggers

During the holidays you can always count on your home being filled with smiling faces, cheerful music and a house full of delicious smells.

I recently had the opportunity to check out Sweet Creations 4 cup mini loaf pan. I usually don't do much baking during the holiday’s (I’m more of the eating type) but took this as a bold opportunity to embrace my baking skills and try out a new banana bread recipe. I love warm banana bread the way it smells, tastes and with a spread of butter on top you really can’t go wrong.
Isn't this pan adorable!!!

Here is my recipe:

3 ripe bananas
1 1/2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
2 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup sour cream or plain yogurt
2 eggs
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 cup (1 stick) of butter melted
Dry ingredients on the left, mashed banana's on the right!

Mix together in a medium bowl the flour and baking soda. Mash the bananas with the sour cream until blended in a bowl. Cream together till light and fluffy the butter and sugar then add eggs and vanilla. Then fold in banana mixture to butter and sugar mixture and slowly fold in dry ingredients. Batter will become chunky. Put into pan make sure you spray them. If you are using a regular loaf pan bake on 350 for 1 hour, in the Sweet Creations Pan they took 35 minutes. Let them cool in the pan for 5-10 minutes then put on a rack to continue to cool.
Chunky Mixture
All ready for the oven! Looks great in the pan don't you think!!!

I added the 1 tsp of cinnamon to my batter and I think it gave it that extra touch! The bread was warm, moist and well like the recipe says BEST BANANA BREAD!

Look at how beautiful these loaves turned out. And it’s nice that they are little then you won’t feel so bad if you eat the whole thing…right??
